Description

I have been using freenas 9.2.1.9 for quite sometime. Yesterday I decided to switch to freenas 9.3 stable. I did a clean install of 9.3. Now I can't shut down my freenas system. I have tried both web GUI shutdown button as well as SSH shutdown -p command. But system never shuts down. I have to pull the power cord in order to shut it down. Help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Do you have a monitor connected to the system? Will it be possible to take a picture of what's on the screen when this happens?

Please check image file. These are the last messages I get on my screen. After this, the screen goes blank and system just hangs there. it never shuts down.

Hi, can you try setting:

kern.shutdown.show_busybufs=1

In your sysctl variable ( http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_system.html ) and report back if that makes a difference to the output?
