Description

my goal was to add a ssd to a raiz3 pool as cache drive and later to an a second ssd as log drive.
the confusing "manual setup" interface of the volume manager let me end up in a situation where the first drive really became the cache but the second ssd became a stripe beside the raidz3 without intention.

there is not way for the user to recognize what exactly will happen while pressing the "add volume" button.
a notification before sending the command is highly recommended. the reliability of the new pool is also far away from raidz3.

unfortunately i learned that there is not way to detach the added drive again. so the final situation is very unpleasant.
