Bug #169
Active Directory service doesn't start up correctly after reboot
Description
Hi guys,
I have noticed that when I reboot my 8.0-RC2 server the Active Directory service doesn't start correctly.
Here's what I know:
When I reboot the server I am propmpted for my Windows domain login when I try to access a share. If I go to "Services" on the [[FreeNAS]] box and turn the Active Directory service off then on again my login works seamlessly again.

Hi jhixson,
I'm running RC-4 now and I just wanted to report that I still need to restart the AD service when I reboot.

Also running RC-4 and noticed this. winbindd is not starting when the samba rc script is run at startup. I can manually restart the whole rc.d/samba script and winbindd starts up (I actually added a backgrounded rc.local script to sleep 30 and then restart samba and that works for now). It looks like freenas is joining to the domain, but that occurs after winbindd et al try to start up. I am thinking that winbindd won't start unless you are bound. Something is occuring in those 30 seconds that lets winbindd start. -MH
