Description
I am seeing the same issue reported in Bug # 10243. Specifically, my "daily security run output" email is showing warnings based on entries appearing in /var/log/auth.log exactly one year earlier. I am not that familiar with bug reports so I hope this report of a continued issue is appropriate. Thank you.

I can set up a rotation rule that can refresh auth.log every year. Maybe that will fix this issue. Anyone have any other ideas?
