Hello,

Some update.

I try to create New VM, empty one. And also can't power ON... I try to create Default VM for windows or for Linux, does not matter. When I power On, I receive similar error.

VBox support has been EOL'd for a while now. We don't support the template any further. The "iohyve" command is available via the CLI if you need to spin up a VM.

hello.

Okey, so we that have vbox have to stop updating freenas to have working vbox machines?

#9 Updated by Kim Kam about 2 years ago

Only old template is dessuported or completeley virtualbox with freenas?
Because I think virtualbox is still available in freebsd packages and regulary updated.

It is possible to create virtualbox jail with latest versions manually, I have posted instructions here

I can also confirm this error. I need to have these VMs up and running, so thanks for above.
I cannot use iohyve - last time I tested iohyve there was no option to use more than 1 NIC and bind it to physical NICs - and we have a virtual router OS running inside this VM.

Looks like the same as #17869 for 9.10.1. Maybe the bugfix can be adopted!?

#13 Updated by Vaibhav Chauhan about 2 years ago

#17869 was never fixed as it was an oversight to put this ticket to be marked as Resolved, as mentioned previously please use "iohyve" on CLI to spin new VM
this is a NTBF
