Description

Hey there,

This is in response to: https://forums.freenas.org/index.php?threads/cant-join-ad-all-of-a-sudden.49206/#post-337872

Thank you very much for looking into this. dlavigne mentioned Samba changed in the last update. That is when I started seeing issues with my AD connection. Once the connection was severed, I could not get it back up.

I haven't opened a support ticket in a while so I didn't know whether "Attach Debug Info" pulled all debug info, so I also attached it as an attachment.

Thanks,

IonutZ

According to your logs, your AD server is unreachable.

Started working when recreating AD environment. But that active directory error is extremely vague... I don't know if log levels can be altered beyond what I had there but they really weren't helping from an AD perspective.

The error is "Can't contact LDAP server". I'm sorry if this is vague, I'm open to suggestions. In the mean time, I'm closing out this ticket. I'm glad everything is working for you now.
