Description

I've starting to encounter this error very often after upgrading from [[FreeNAS]] 8.3.0 to 8.3.1. During 8.3.0 I've never encountered this error. This error is random occurrence. After I reboot the machine, sometimes it will boot fine but sometimes it will not and I have to reboot again. I searched for similar error and it appears to be a missing mouse problem. But my mouse is attached, though I am curious if is the fact that it is attached to a KVM switch?

Dp ypu have an intel card? igb(4) driver?

If so, seems like a known issue.

Can you try escape to prompt in loader and type:

set hw.pci.enable_msix=0
boot

This is obviously a workaround and not a fix.

Well, then I can only ask you to try a nightly that has a [[FreeBSD]] 9:
