Description

When fresh installing 9.10.2-U1 on my test box, had to cancel the wizard as it required all information on the AD screen to be populated.

Please note latest is: FreeNAS-9.10.2-U1.iso and that is not in the "Seen in" drop down, so selected U3.

I thought you could skip or just click next with those fields blank, thats what I've done in the past, unless it regressed.

Me too.

Can you post a screenshot of the issue?

Attached.

Couple thoughts: AD User (root) and Password auto populated. Could be the browser's fault ... If I manually clean those fields the Wizard continues. Also I've just tried from FireFox and as I didn't have the credentials saved, it didn't populated.

No. Me too, never seen it requiring info.

Behaves as correctly then. We can't deal with browser auto-populating things, its outside app influence.

Yea, I'm going to say this was a browser issue, filling in forms it shouldn't have.

If those fields are blank, it will let you continue (as it should). However if you have any of them filled in, then it makes sense to error out when some of the information is missing.

Agree. I'd close it.
