Description

Testing iocage (version 0.9.7 2017/03/08)on my FreeNAS Mini - latest nightly iso (FreeNAS 9.10-MASTER--201704170553-1ea4bf6.iso). After installing, I log in via the webui as root, open the shell, and type iocage clean --help. This message appears:

Setting up zpool [freenas-boot] for iocage usage
If you wish to change please use "iocage activate"

The shell then locks up, forcing me to reboot the system after waiting about 2-3 minutes. I expected any help text for the "clean" command to display, similar to the other iocage subcommands.

After rebooting the system, the proper text for iocage clean --help now appears normally, and the shell doesn't lock up either

I think this might be related to the color logging that Marcelo did, can you try something for me?

Run

zfs inherit -r org.freebsd.ioc:active POOL
and try another
COMMAND --help
and see if that locks up as well. From my tests clean is the only one showing the logs before the help.
