Its a regression from py3k change.

YAY. I can replicate this issue now, which means I figure out the problem and fix it.

Confirmed working here. I'd like to revisit the algorithm for determining correct site however. I recall some of our customers that have hundreds of sites or more where this takes quite some time to do without hard setting the site in the UI ;-)
