Description

The System/Information screen shows the Build number, but not a date, so the user has no easy way to determine how old a release they are running. With the confusion between version strings not being numerically comparable (9.10 > 9.3), adding a build date to this screen would give the user valuable information.

After discussion with Kris: to clarify we want the string to be in one entry but also make it obvious the date the version was built.

For example, BETA1 could read:

OS Version:

FreeNAS-11.2-BETA1-20180604xxxx (assuming that is the build date). This should be in BETA1 as the string is important for bug reporting and support.

This is something that would need to be done on the middleware or build first before the UI can make any use of it. Passing to William for his input on this matter.

This is not feature parity. Why is this targeted to BETA1?

Create me a ticket for middleware API and we will implement it.
