That is the latest version on the external update server.

And now I've tried on FreeNAS-11.0-RC1 (ad90a865b), the latest internal-server version, and it's still unusable in exactly the same way.

even after that, you haven't figure out it's not usable, yet?

#5 Updated by Sean Fagan over 3 years ago

I said it's not usable.

The sidebar covers the left side of the window and I can't scroll. Which means I can't see or edit, which means that it is not usable.

What browsers have you tried?

Hi Sean,

I checked the code. If the screen width is less than 1200px, the sidebar will overlap.

I figured the bug was something like that. It's still a bug and renders it unusable.

I've noticed here that if I re-size the window it usually auto-collapses the menu and then looks fine. Is that something we can check into? Perhaps it isn't catching that all the time?

Sean, if you collapse the menu do the elements now "fit"?

#12 Updated by Sean Fagan over 3 years ago

Yes, that seems to do it.

Ok, so the real bug seems to be that the menu isn't auto-collapsing by default when the screen-res is too small. I notice here if I expand / shrink the window it seems to work, so maybe we need that particular javascript check run when the UI is first started.
