Bug #24217
Fix SMART tests for wizard-generated configurations
Description
Just did a clean install of FreeNAS 11RC3 on a test machine (one blade of a Dell C6100, 2x Xeon X5650, 48 GB RAM, if the configuration matters). Used the wizard to do initial setup. Went to schedule SMART tests in the legacy GUI, and noticed there was a default entry running short SMART tests every hour, but only on Sunday. That seems like a particularly silly default. A default SMART test sounds like a great idea, but suggest daily at 2300 or so, rather than every hour, one day a week.

I don't agree with every day, but it should not be every hour either.

I'd think a sensible default for a short test would be anywhere from daily to weekly. Having one is a good idea (and I'd also think having a default long test is also a good idea), but not hourly.
Aside from the obvious, this also means that (since the SMART self-test log holds only 21 entries) every Sunday, the results of any other tests (including scheduled long tests) will disappear.
