Description

the host shows 100% for bhyve process.
vm is not pingable.
black screen while trying to connect to vm using VNC.
using virtio drivers for nic.
2vcpu, 2GB memory.

Could you lower the number of vCPUs from 2 to 1 and make a test to check if anything changes?

it also happens with 1 cpu.
i also tried to give more memory(4 gb), less memory (1 gb), tried to switch to virtio driver for HDD (it doesnt boot, but it is a whole different story - https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/23457)

It is a bhyve issue as well, I would keep this open and test it again when 11.1-RELEASE is out.

Hi, not yet! But there is a patch on FreeBSD under review that might fix this issue.
