Description
The port option to the UPS popup window in 9.10.x lists various serial ports /dev/cuauX and USB ports named as /dev/ugenX.X by default.
However, some UPSes use HID USB drivers, like some APC models, (specifically APC Back-UPS Pro 500).
It was not clear that I can change the port field to be /dev/uhid0 for my UPS.
