Description
The sentence in section 8.5. Snapshots
"Since a clone is really a dataset which can be mounted, the clone appears in the Active Volumes tab, instead of the Periodic Snapshots tab, and has the word clone in its name."
should read
"Since a clone is really a dataset which can be mounted, the clone appears in the Volumes tab, instead of the Snapshots tab, and has the word clone in its name."
There are no Active Volumes and Periodic Snapshots tabs in the Storage section of the FreeNAS 11 classic UI. Maybe these are remnants of prior FreeNAS versions. There is a second occurrence of "the Active Volumes tab" in the blue box in the same section of the manual.
