Same issue here. Minio is no longer working on 11.1-U5 after upgrading from 11.1-U4.

Same problem here. As I see, there's already a solution for it by installing the stable version from github.
Dumb question: How do I do that? Is there anything like a tutorial?

Sinan: this was only an issue on U5. You can reboot into U4 until U6 (or BETA1) are released.

Thanks, Dru.
Would prefer to stay with U5. As Sinan asked, how would I install the approved fix?

It's not really a fix but a recompile of the port within the base system. While you could compile your own version of FreeNAS using the github README, it is easier and recommended to reboot into U4 until U6 is available.

Thanks again, Dru.
U6 is 33 days away. Will 34459 be resolved in 11.2 Beta or 11.2 U1?
Any chance of a recompiled 11.1-U5 being made available?

The fix is in U6 and BETA1 (and not needed in U4 or earlier, it is only U5 that is affected).

Hi,
my System got initial setup with version U5. Anything I can do beside of waiting 33 days for U6?
Is there a way to force the installation of version U4 or to replace the binary file of minio?
Br,
Maximilian

You can install U4 in a different boot environment.

Hi Dru,
I was able to switch back to the initial version after install, so everything is fine.
Unfortunately I did not check the boot section when I was looking for an older version on the update section.
Thank you for the hint! :)
regards,
Maximilian

Hello, Dru.
U6 was 33 days away 24 days ago. Now it is 29 days out. Any chance you could make the S3 fix available before then?

Jeff: best bet if you need the fix now is to rollback to (or install) U4.
