Testing with FreeNAS Mini/System updated to FreeNAS-11.2-MASTER-201807180859:
Go to Tasks/Cron Jobs and create a new trivial cron task set to run monthly. Click "More Options" for the new entry and select "Run Now". The snackbar appears and notifies the task was started.
Checking other pages in the Tasks menu shows that this change needs to be applied to at least all of these options that include cron scheduling:
Rsync Tasks, S.M.A.R.T. Tests, Periodic Snapshot Tasks, Replication Tasks, Scrub Tasks, Cloud Sync Tasks

Note: Adding "run now" options to the remaining schedule tasks is needed for parity with the legacy UI.

I created tickets for the run now buttons in other parts of the UI that were missed, marking this back as ready for testing for the "cron" section as the ticket originally specified. The other sections will be fixed in their own tickets.
