Description

When selecting a homedir for a FreeNAS defined user, it appends the user name to the path.
This interferes with FTP's chroot functionality.

This is functioning as designed. Are you saying you're creating the FTP account via the account creation tool? That one is kind of special and should be handled differently, perhaps by something new in FreeNAS.

Yes, I am creating the user with the account creation tool from web GUI. The issue here is that I am setting no shell to the user, so I am expecting it will not force me into a specific path. Also if I want to force it to a specific path (see #4985) it will still revert back to specified folder+username path.
