Description

I have updated my NAS which was running 11.1 to 11.2-rc3. After the update, the VM fails to boot, and the serial console shows this error:

vmx_init: processor does not support VMX operation

I understand that this is because VT-x extensions aren't found. This is expected, since my box is running inside a VM. Enabling nested virtualization in ESXi (6.7) isn't an option because I am using PCI passthrough for a HBA.

I think FreeNAS should disable virtualization support if hardware virtualization isn't available, rather than failing to boot right away
