Description

I am trying to following the procedure in the FreeNAS 9.3 docs on replacing a failed drive:

http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_storage.html#replacing-a-failed-drive

However, there is one part of the documentation that is a little ambiguous.

It says "Before physically removing the failed device, go to Storage ‣ Volumes ‣ View Volumes ‣ Volume Status and locate the failed disk. Once you have located the failed device in the GUI, perform the following steps:"

However, it doesn't make it clear where to find the Volume Status option. I spent several minutes trying to work out where the Volume Status text was. I compared this to the older FreeNAS docs here - http://olddoc.freenas.org/index.php/Volumes#Replacing_a_Failed_Drive. They state:

"Before physically removing the failed device, go to Storage → Volumes → View Volumes. Next, select your volume's name. At the bottom of the interface you will see several icons, one of which is Volume Status. Click the Volume Status icon and locate the failed disk. Once you have located the failed device in the GUI, perform the following steps:"

I find the old text much clearer in terms of what to do - and it makes it clear that it's a icon as well.
