The message is unrelated. iXautomation executes reset to clear the screen after the failure, but since it's not using a TTY for output, reset complains about the inappropriate ioctl.

The failure happens in one of four places: installing the bootloader, setting the root password, creating a sentinel file, or unmounting the installed system. I don't see any error messages from the shell script (all the commands should print some message on error), but the root password is set through netcli, which I am not yet familiar with. However it does look like netcli silently exits on error, which fits.

Then I probably know where it regressed, I will send it Vladimir's way since its middleware fault, if you dont mind.
