Kernel core support
It's impossible debugging some situations where the kernel goes south in customer configurations if there's a kernel bug, the system runs out of memory due to a rogue process, etc.
We really need support for kernel coredumps. This would require the following items:
1. Swap support is required.
2. A persistent backing store needs to be provided, in lieu of /var/crash .
Minidumps should be sufficient for most issues.

- Status changed from Unscreened to Closed
- Target version changed from 8.2.0-RELEASE to 9.2.0-RELEASE
Kernel crashdump support is greatly improved since this bug
was filed. We support textdumps, and use scripts like ixdiagnose
to help with the analysis of the kernel crash.
