Description

When trying to extend my existing pool with a new vdev of different disk count I get a warning.

WARNING: Adding data vdevs with different numbers of disks is not recommended. First vdev has 8 disks, new vdev has 6.

In the second prompt (attached) it asks me to confirm and continue. I assume this prompt is the force option to continue with this (non recommended configuration). But the final step I get a new error and the new vdev is not created.

You are trying to add a virtual device consisting of 6 device(s) in a pool that has a virtual device consisting of 8 device(s)

As a workaround I go to the legacy UI and do a manual import via the Volume Manager.
