Description

Just tried a new Jail after upgrading to 11.2, when I add my mount point to this jail multiple folders inside the mount points look like this:

drwxrwxr-x+  11 1000  1000    11 Mar 26  2018 Vid??os

Should read Vidéos.

It looks like your shell does not support UTF8?

Tried on 2 different computers and same result. When I check on my old jail (jexec) with the same mount point I can see all the folders and encoding is ok.

Thats not about which computer, but the shell you're using and the locale settings.

Whats the output of "locale" when you're checking it?

New jail:

root@plex:~ # locale
LANG=
LC_CTYPE="C"
LC_COLLATE="C"
LC_TIME="C"
LC_NUMERIC="C"
LC_MONETARY="C"
LC_MESSAGES="C"
LC_ALL=

Old jail:

root@plex:/ # locale
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=

So I guess that means I have to change my default locale charset? It is not set by default on new iocage jail?
